Frezja Baker Reportedly Found Dead Near a West Charlotte Church
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A 31-year-old mother who vanished last week after telling her family she’d be “home within the hour” has now reportedly been found dead.
Just yesterday, we shared the story on the disappearance of Frezja Baker, a Charlotte mom who hadn’t been seen since late Thursday night, December 4, 2025.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, Baker was last spotted around 9:50 p.m. at the Quick N E-Z Food Mart on Sugar Creek Road. She was last seen driving her gray-blue 2004 Honda Accord with temporary South Carolina tags — HBL5984A — and then simply vanished.
But now, a disturbing turn.
According to social media reports, Baker’s body and her vehicle were found behind a church in West Charlotte Thursday morning — a chilling end to a week-long search that had her family pleading for answers.
CMPD hasn’t officially confirmed the identity of the deceased, but they did say officers found an unresponsive person inside a vehicle around 9:35 a.m. on Sanders Avenue, off Beatties Ford Road — and the car matches Baker’s exact description. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, according to WSOC-TV.
Adding even more heat to this already tense situation, Baker was believed to have been last seen with a man who goes by “Cantbetouched Nuna” on social media. Police are not commenting on him, his involvement, or whether he’s considered a person of interest.
Baker’s loved ones describe her as a caring, loving woman, the kind of person who would “give you the shirt off her back.”
She leaves behind a 2-year-old son who will now grow up without his mother.
