FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — New details have emerged in a deadly Fayetteville restaurant shooting that claimed the lives of two brothers outside a popular local eatery Saturday night.
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, Timothy Nakamoto, 43, and Daniel Nakamoto, 45, were fatally shot just before 7 p.m. outside Mac’s Speed Shop, located on North McPherson Church Road. What began as a verbal dispute the brothers reportedly got into with another individual – escalated into a physical confrontation and ended in gunfire, police say.
Officers confirmed that Timothy Nakamoto was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. Daniel Nakamoto was pronounced dead at the scene.

What Led to the Fayetteville Restaurant Shooting
Police say their preliminary investigation indicates the brothers were involved in an argument that spiraled out of control moments before the shooting occurred. Detectives have not released details about what triggered the dispute or who fired the weapon.
Authorities confirmed that a person of interest has been detained and questioned, though no arrests have been announced as of publication.

Two sides to every story. Sounds like to me these two good old boys tried to take down one dude and he protected himself. Am I right? I don’t know but it sure is possible.
