Despite having metal detectors and a weapons detection system in place, somehow a firearm still made its way past security and into the stadium.

Sheriff’s deputies confirmed that one person of interest is currently in custody, but officials have not said whether this was a targeted attack, random act of violence, or if multiple shooters could be involved.

The motive remains under investigation.
