Sherri Walker, 35, of Durham, North Carolina, and a child lost their lives Saturday night on Page Road near Holloman Road due to a head-on collision.
According to Durham police, the fatal crash occurred around 8:37 p.m. Investigators reported that a man named Rodey Brower, 56, of Durham, was driving on Page Road when his car collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Walker. Walker was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Police reported that inside Walker’s car were another adult and three children, one of whom later succumbed to their injuries. The other victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Brower was treated for minor injuries.
People who knew Walker described her as the most beautiful and kindest person anyone could ever meet on this earth.
