A massive Durham drug bust uncovered 4.6 kilos of deadly fentanyl, assault-style weapons, and thousands in cash after deputies raided a home on Newland Place.
DURHAM, NC — Investigators with the Durham County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime & Narcotics Unit (SAC/Narc) — backed by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) — kicked in the door on a suspected drug operation at a home on Newland Place Wednesday in Durham.
According to a press release, the search warrant uncovered multiple high-powered weapons, including an AR-15 and an AK-style assault rifle, along with a large amount of cash and a stash of drugs that could’ve wiped out the entire city.

Ephraim is currently locked up in the Durham County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond after making a first court appearance Thursday morning.
