Church folks still playing church is once again the topic of social media debate after a video out of Suffolk, Virginia went viral showing members of Oak Grove Baptist Church (OGBC) line dancing in the sanctuary— not to a traditional gospel hymn, but to a remix of “Boots on the Ground” by 803 Fresh.
And let’s just say, church folks still playing church is an understatement.
In the now-viral video, OGBC members were seen two-stepping and swinging their fans like they were at a Southern Soul trail ride party rather than in the house of the Lord. The beat was hot and the lyrics were customized to honor their First Lady, Jacqueline Copeland as part of First Lady Jacqueline Copeland’s 30th First Lady’s Day anniversary, and the church reportedly kicked off the festivities on Wednesday, May 7, with what they called “Western Night at The Apollo.”
And let me just say, if the Lord was watching, he probably logged off after seeing this going on in his house. To make it even messier, the footage was proudly posted online by one of the church’s own members, who bragged, “As always, OGBC showed out.”

Shameful behavior in the House of God. Better time would be fasting, praying, and teaching the Bible. First Lady? All are equal in His house. The world is dying, and the church has far more important important work to do.

What a shame. They’re besmirching the house of the lord. It’s times like these that I’m glad that I gave my soul over to the Dark Prince. Lord Lucifer. Because he allows us to do such things in his tents. But I’m shocked to see such worldly activity in the lord’s tabernacle.

If you shut up & use your ears you’d hear the song is about god ! “strong men don’t go to weak churches” if you determine strength it sounds like it’s in every one’s best interest you stay home ! Yall wana be children of god so bad but did not reference god ONCE ! Genesis 1:27 (NIV):

Because every person reflects God’s image, we’re called to treat others with the same grace, mercy, and love that He shows us.
Yall so fake outraged & fake religious please stop using this as an excuse, not not to go to church because God knows for real & I can guarantee that they got a ticket in heaven
