18-Year-Old Shoots His Own Mother 5 Times With AR-15 Inside South Tulsa, OK Apartment

18-year-old Christian Miller is behind bars after allegedly shooting his mother multiple times with an AR-15-style pistol during a heated argument inside their South Tulsa apartment Thursday night.

What Happened?

Police say around 10:30 p.m. on July 31, multiple 911 calls flooded in from residents at 89 East Apartments near 71st and Memorial, reporting gunfire from one of the units.

When officers arrived, Christian Miller was waiting. Authorities say he admitted to shooting his 39-year-old mother five times. She was rushed into emergency surgery at a local hospital. Her current condition has not been released.

Cold-Blooded Confession

According to Tulsa Police, Miller called 911 himself immediately after the shooting. He peacefully surrendered at the scene and was arrested without incident.

He now faces a felony charge of domestic assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Motive Still Unknown

At this time, investigators haven’t revealed what led to the brutal shooting.
