Brother and Sister Found Dead in Vance County Home after deputies responded to a late-night call on Torri Drive. The 13-year-old and 17-year-old were discovered inside the residence while their father and other siblings were present.
VANCE COUNTY, N.C. — BeatMob… this is a weird story and we will be following and investigating.
The two teenagers found dead inside a Henderson home Monday night have now been confirmed as brother and sister, ages 13 and 17. Deputies with the Vance County Sheriff’s Office responded around 9:40 p.m. to a home on Torri Drive off Hicksboro Road after receiving a call for service. Once inside, they located the siblings unresponsive. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities confirm their father and other siblings were also inside the home at the time, but they were not physically harmed.
Investigators are still working to determine exactly what happened inside that residence.
At this time there is no cause of death has been released, no manner of death confirmed, no arrests announced and no indication yet whether foul play is suspected.
Officials say the case remains an active and developing death investigation, and they are withholding additional details to protect the integrity of the case and out of respect for the grieving family.
This is a developing story.
