TikTok Star Brenay Kennard Arrested in Durham After Allegedly Harassing Her Boyfriend’s Ex-Wife Online
Not the TikTok girlies getting cuffed behind ex-wife drama! Social media influencer Brenay Anga‑Lee Kennard, of Winterville, who has over 2 million followers with her aesthetic and relationship content, has been charged over some online drama.
Kennard, 29, was arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor cyberstalking after allegedly harassing her boyfriend’s ex-wife Akira Montague online. The streets say she was doing the most. According to court documents, Kennard went on an electronic rampage on September 4, 2025, sending stressful and allegedly harassing messages via Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram to Montague.

In her criminal complaint, Montague said that Kennard constantly harasses her online and is “showing up to locations that do not pertain to her.” She also said she has a flash drive of evidence showing Kennard violating a no-contact order, and that Kennard is always answering questions pertaining to her [Montague’s] personal life.
An arrest warrant was slapped on her the next day, and she was officially taken into custody. Kennard was released on September 9 and probably back on TikTok acting like nothing ever happened. Kennard is also wrapped up in a whole separate civil case filed by Montague in May 2024 for alienation of affection.
In other words, Akira is saying that Brenay stole her man and wants $1 million in damages. Get Moneyyyyy!
So, Kennard is catching heat from both criminal and civil courtrooms over the same man.
