Milwaukee Police detectives followed leads that included surveillance footage of the Jeep Renegade and multiple tip-offs from community members.

By Saturday afternoon, authorities confirmed Jamal White had been safely recovered; the AMBER Alert has since been officially canceled.

A photo obtained by The North Carolina Beat captured the moment authorities had White safely in their arms.
