A 3-year-old child has been abducted by a 31-year-old man named Raheem Tyshawn Pate.
The amber alert was issued Saturday afternoon around 3:15 p.m. about 3-year-old Kaysie Jay Lipscomb, a black female, 2 feet tall, weighs 40 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Kaysie is believed to be wearing blue tights with polka dots and snowflakes.
Pate is a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is missing two teeth and is believed to be 5 ft 11 inches tall, and weighs 250 pounds. He is believed to be driving a white 2017 Chevrolet Malibu with NC license plate number HLE-9661.
Anyone with information about this abduction is asked to immediately call the Gastonia Police Department at 704-866-6702 or call 911.
