A Virginia man accused of a disturbing sex crime was arrested early Thursday morning in Beautfort County, North Carolina.
29-year-old Aaron Snider was taken into custody around 6:00 a.m. by local police after authorities received a tip that he was in the area of 108 East 8th Street. Officers moved in and arrested him without incident.

Snider was wanted in Henry County, Virginia for allegedly raping a handicapped person. The alleged assault took place back in September 2024, but investigators have been actively searching for Snider since an arrest warrant was issued.

He is currently being held without bond at the Beaufort County Detention Center, where he will remain until authorities extradite him back to Virginia to face justice.
