A Vance County drug bust uncovered thousands of doses of deadly drugs and illegal firearms.

HENDERSON, N.C.  — On Friday, May 1, 2026 a squad from the Vance County Sheriff’s Office, Henderson Police Department, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the FBI’s Raleigh-Durham Safe Streets Task Force rolled up on two separate homes and ripped a massive hole in the local drug trade.

The joint warrants turned up thousands of doses of heroin, pounds of meth and fentanyl, stacks of cash, multiple guns and even a machine gun conversion kit, all while one suspect was already on federal probation.

At the first target address on Vicksboro Road,  authorities took out a jaw-dropping load that included 31,100 individual doses of heroin, 3,044 grams of methamphetamine, 1,100 grams of fentanyl, 296 grams of M30 pills, 958 grams of marijuana, $4,247 in cash, three firearms with one reported stolen and a pile of drug-mixing equipment plus packaging materials.

The second raid on South Oliver Drive netted another $2,445 in cash, 29 grams of methamphetamine, 3 grams of fentanyl pills, a Glock 9mm handgun and a machine gun conversion device.

Three men are now locked down with no bond at the Vance County Detention Center facing a mountain of state and possible federal charges that could keep them off the streets for a long time.

Micheal Lewis Miles, 33, of Henderson, known on the streets as “Mike Mike,” was already on federal probation.

Lee Arthur Adams, 43, of Greenville, NC, is charged with almost the exact same trafficking and intent-to-distribute violations along with felony marijuana possession and possession of a stolen firearm.

Omir Khaseed Gibbs, 21, of Henderson, picked up two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, exposing children to a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule II drugs, possession of a machine gun and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Sheriff Curtis Brame and Henderson Police Chief Marcus Barrow released a joint statement praising the tight teamwork across every level of law enforcement.

“This operation shows exactly what happens when local, state and federal partners lock arms — we get dangerous drugs and illegal guns out of our neighborhoods for good,” the leaders said.

All three suspects remain locked up.

  1. Feds should make them an offer – if they can help convict the cartel peoples who sold them all that shit, they can go free.
