RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County business owner says a detailing job tied to a rapper’s music video turned into a violent ambush—and now the story is blowing up online.

Nathan Taylor, owner of Koa Pro Detail, a mobile car detailing service in the Raleigh/Wake County area, claims he was attacked, beaten, and robbed after completing a last-minute detailing job Monday night.

Taylor shared his story on TikTok (@nathannnv23), where the video is rapidly gaining traction.

“THEY DIDN’T WANT TO PAY”—DETAILER SAYS HE WAS SET UP

According to Taylor, he was contacted to detail two vehicles for a music video involving Houston rapper Sauce Walka.

But after finishing the job, Taylor says a group of five to seven men—allegedly part of Sauce Walka’s crew—surrounded him and refused to pay.

He says the situation escalated quickly.

One man allegedly pulled out a gun and struck Taylor in the face, knocking him to the ground.

“Everything went black for five to ten seconds,” Taylor said.

While trying to escape, Taylor claims the group continued punching him in the back of the head and body.

Taylor says his fur baby, Koa, was with him during the entire ordeal—something that has left both of them shaken.

“I was holding on to my girl because if she had gotten loose, they would have killed her,” he said.

Despite being injured and disoriented, Taylor managed to get into his car, lock the doors, and drive away.

SAUCE WALKA NOT ACCUSED OF PHYSICAL ASSAULT

In a follow up video, responding to a comment, Taylor made it clear in a follow-up that Sauce Walka himself did not physically attack him.

However, he alleges that the violence came from members of the rapper’s team who were present at the scene.

“He didn’t touch me… I never even met him. But his main guys are the ones who hurt me.”

In a now-deleted TikTok, Taylor said that a man named Omari Martin, owner of Way Too Tuft, was the person who booked the detail. In that video, Taylor said:

“He set all of this up, he signed the terms and condiitions, his name is on everything,” Taylor said in the deleted video. “He did not personally assault and attack me but he lured me out there and set this detail up.”

Taylor says he is suffering from a serious concussion, dizziness, and emotional distress following the attack. He has since returned to the hospital for additional testing, including a CT scan, after experiencing further head trauma.

“My head is in such a sensitive state right now,” he said.

Beyond the physical injuries, Taylor says he’s been emotionally shaken, crying for hours after the incident and now fearing for his safety.

His furbaby is also reportedly traumatized and refusing to leave his side.

At this time, it is unclear whether any arrests have been made or if law enforcement has officially confirmed the details of the alleged assault.
