President Trump announces Operation Epic Fury after massive U.S. strikes on Iran, claims the Supreme Leader is dead, confirms American casualties, and warns more troop losses could follow.
President Donald J. Trump delivered a second address — announcing that the United States and its allies have launched what he called “one of the largest, most complex, most overwhelming military offensives the world has ever seen.”And according to him. This is just the beginning.
OPERATION “EPIC FURY” UNLEASHED
Over the past 36 hours, U.S. forces alongside allies — including Israel — have carried out massive coordinated strikes inside Iran under the name Operation Epic Fury.
Trump says:
“Nobody’s seen anything like it.”
The targets reportedly included the revolutionary Guard facilities, Iranian air defense systems, and naval assets — including nine ships allegedly destroyed within minutes
He also claimed Iran’s “entire military command is gone.”
IRAN’S SUPREME LEADER “DEAD,” TRUMP CLAIMS
In part of his speech, Trump announced that Iran’s “formerly Supreme Leader” — identified as Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — is dead.
He described the leader as:
“This wretched and vile man had the blood of hundreds and even thousands of Americans on his hands.”
Trump claimed celebrations broke out across Iran when news of the death spread, saying “voices of the Iranian people could be heard cheering and celebrating in the streets.”
U.S. TROOPS KILLED — AND TRUMP WARNS MORE MAY DIE
Earlier today, U.S. Central Command confirmed three American service members were killed in action during ongoing combat operations.

Trump addressed the nation directly:
“As one nation, we grieve for the true American patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice.”
But then came the hard reality:
“And sadly, there will likely be more before it ends. That’s the way it is.”
He vowed America would “avenge their deaths” and deliver what he called “the most punishing blow to the terrorists who have waged war against civilization.”
“LAY DOWN YOUR ARMS OR FACE CERTAIN DEATH”
Trump didn’t stop at military updates. He issued a direct warning to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and military police:
“Lay down your arms and receive full immunity or face certain death. It will be certain death. It won’t be pretty.”
He also called on Iranian citizens seeking freedom to “seize this moment.”
“Be brave. Be bold. Be heroic. Take back your country. America is with you.”
“STRONGEST MILITARY THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN”
Trump used the moment to reinforce his long-standing claim that he rebuilt America’s military during his first term.
“There’s never been a military like we possess. And frankly, there’s nobody even close.”
He framed the operation as both defensive and generational — saying it’s about protecting “our children and their children.”
He repeatedly emphasized preventing Iran from possessing long-range missiles or nuclear weapons, arguing that such capability would be a “dire threat to every American.”
