JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — The streets just got lighter by 222 pounds of methamphetamine after a MAJOR drug bust went down in Eastern North Carolina.

According to authorities, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, the Jacksonville Police Department Special Investigations Unit teamed up with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration for a joint operation that led to the jaw-dropping seizure.
