A Virginia woman told The North Carolina Beat that she was robbed by two men at her Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort hotel on Sunday morning.
Olivia Christian, 22, shared that she was in Myrtle Beach for Bike Week with her sister. They had met some individuals who visited their room to hang out.
Christian mentioned that one of the men returned around 8:10 a.m., claiming to have left their sunglasses behind.
She allowed the man to re-enter to search for the sunglasses. However, about 10 minutes later, the man grabbed her bag containing $1,300, her keys, wallet, and iPhone, before fleeing.
Christian contacted the police, and they managed to recover everything missing from her bag except for all of her money. She only had $140 in her bag when the police retrieved it for her.
The North Carolina Beat obtained video footage of one of the suspects, who has not yet been identified, running down a staircase and exiting a door with Christian’s belongings.

The other suspect who was with the unidentified man in the video above was identified by Christian as Tyreek Guinyard from Columbia, South Carolina.
Christian said she chased the man with her bag but stopped when she remembered that Guinyard had a gun. She said Myrtle Beach Police are investigating the robbery.

I only saw one guy in the video so why she claiming two men robbed her? She clearly stated one guy returned the next morning to retrieve sun glassess
She must’ve been providing a fairly pricey service to be carrying around so much cash in a bag. I imagine these guys were customers and decided they wanted a refund.

This is why I don’t invite strangers into my room no matter where I’m at. I am glad she had enough sense to remember that those things can be replaced and didn’t place herself in harm’s way. Nowadays you have to be careful of who you allow to be around you. It seems as if the young men came around her with the intent of robbing her. They stayed long enough to figure out what she had and how to get it.
