Gossip has it… CNN has managed to snag an exclusive 2016 surveillance clip that captures the infamous Sean “Diddy” Combs in a heated altercation with his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura on March 5, 2016, at a now-defunct InterContinental Hotel in Century, Los Angeles.
The footage reveals Combs engaging in a series of aggressive actions towards Ventura, including grabbing, pushing, dragging, and even kicking her. Ventura later brought a lawsuit against Combs, which was swiftly settled the following day, detailing the incident in her complaint.
In the video clip obtained by CNN, Ventura is seen exiting a hotel room and making her way to the elevator. Combs, sporting only a towel around his waist, is then spotted dashing down a hallway after Ventura. The scene escalates as Combs seizes Ventura by the back of her neck and hurls her to the ground, followed by a disturbing kick while she is down.
Maintaining his grip on the towel, Combs proceeds to grab Ventura’s belongings before delivering another kick to her motionless form on the floor. The footage captures a brief pause of about four seconds between the two kicks. Subsequently, Combs drags Ventura by her sweatshirt towards a room before walking away, leaving her to slowly rise to her feet and collect her scattered items.
Ventura is then seen using a phone in the hallway before Combs reappears, pushing her against a mirror before taking a seat. In a fit of rage, Combs is shown snatching an object from a nearby table and hurling it forcefully in Ventura’s direction.
November federal complaint mentioned assault
According to a federal lawsuit filed against Combs by Ventura, she stated that “around March 2016,” Combs became “extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye.” After Combs fell asleep, the complaint stated that Ventura attempted to leave the hotel room, but Combs woke up and “followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her.”
“He grabbed at her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape”, the complaint alleged.
After Ventura got in the elevator, her complaint stated that she took a cab back to her apartment. According to the complaint, it was alleged that Combs paid the InterContinental Century City $50,000 for the hallway footage from that incident.
If he paid for the footage, then it should have been in his possession. So I am thinking that he paid to keep it hushed and not leaked publically, but never owned the footage. Someone from security gave this footage to CNN and someone from security was paid back then.
No, he paid for the footage, and it was in his possession. They found the footage when they raided his home in LA or Miami.
Welp the person he paid is screwed too
