Word On The Curb…a man from Fayetteville, North Carolina got himself in trouble when he decided to run off with somebody else’s car from the parking lot of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, on Sunday, May 26. To add a cherry on top, he even recorded a video of himself confessing to the crime with the stolen car casually chilling in the background.
The culprit in question goes by the name of Mikel White, a 26-year-old resident of Fayetteville. Oh, the audacity!
“I got my fame back, I got my fame back, and i stole somebody’s car,” White says in the video. “I stole somebody’s car.”
As White casually confesses to stealing “somebody’s car,” the Ford Escape is in the background, serving as a silent witness to his crime. And just when you thought the drama couldn’t escalate further, he nonchalantly reveals also stole a phone, and at the time, got away.
“I stole somebody’s car and phone and ran away with it,” White admits in the video.

As per legal documents, White is currently charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony possession of a stolen vehicle, and felony breaking and entering/felony larceny after breaking and entering. For the larceny of a motor vehicle, his bond is set at while the other two charges are set at $0.
A Reddit profile characterizes White as a “mentally ill drug addict with autism who films himself while speaking incoherently and getting violent while uploading it online.”
White remains in the Cumberland County Jail.
