Travis Decker WANTED in Deaths of Three Daughters
A horrific tragedy has rocked the community of Chelan County, Washington, after three young sisters were found murdered just days after going missing during a court-approved visitation with their father.
On June 2, 2025, the bodies of Paityn Decker, 9, Evelyn Decker, 8, and Olivia Decker, 5, were discovered roughly 75 to 100 yards from their father’s abandoned white 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck near the Rock Island Campground. The girls were reported missing on May 30 after 32-year-old Travis Decker failed to return them to their mother, Whitney Decker, by the scheduled time.

The girls were found with plastic bags over their heads and zip ties binding their wrists—clear signs of asphyxiation and restraint. Scattered zip ties and plastic bags littered the crime scene. Investigators also discovered two bloody handprints on the tailgate of Decker’s vehicle, which was packed with car seats, blankets, food, and his wallet—evidence suggesting he had been living in the truck.
Travis Decker, a former U.S. Army and Washington National Guard member, was known to be homeless and had previously been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Court documents confirm that he was under a court-ordered mental health and anger management plan, which he had failed to follow. Despite these red flags, he still maintained shared custody of the girls.
Whitney Decker told authorities that during the May 30 custody exchange, Travis appeared “quieter than usual.”
As of June 4, Decker remains on the run. He is wanted on three counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree kidnapping. Described as 5’8″, 190 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes, Decker was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and dark shorts. He is considered extremely dangerous.
A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
After Whitney’s calls went unanswered on May 30, she filed a missing person’s report at 9:45 p.m. The following day, an Endangered Missing Person Alert was issued. However, an AMBER Alert was never activated.

The Decker sisters’ deaths have left the Wenatchee community devastated. Over 300 people attended a candlelight vigil held in their honor. Friends and family remembered the girls for their joyful spirits, love of sports, and involvement in church. A GoFundMe for their mother has surpassed $442,000.
