MAN WANTED IN TAMIA LOGAN’S MURDER
Authorities are on high alert, urging the public to help track down Marlow Anthony Johnson, 37, who is wanted for the murder of Tamia Logan, a woman tragically gunned down in her own front yard last Friday.
What Went Down
On Friday, July 18, 2025, Cleveland County deputies responded to frantic calls about gunshots near Baker Drive and Pleasant Ridge Church Road in Shelby. When officers arrived, they discovered Tamia Logan lying lifeless outside Apartment A‑14, in the front yard of her residence.

Investigators have issued first-degree murder warrants for Marlow Anthony Johnson of Kings Mountain. Authorities describe Johnson as armed and dangerous, warning the community not to approach him.

He was last spotted driving a white 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis, tricked out with large aftermarket rims, and bearing North Carolina license plate LFA‑4166.
Police are urging anyone with information on Johnson’s whereabouts to call Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers immediately.
