The Star Bar shooting in Raleigh, North Carolina, has put the popular nightclub under serious legal scrutiny. The shooting, which occurred in the early hours of April 13, 2025, led to multiple arrests and the suspension of Star Bar’s alcohol licenses by the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE).
Details of the Star Bar Shooting
According to ALE, the Star Bar shooting happened around 4 a.m. outside the nightclub on Trawick Road. Several rounds were fired, damaging multiple vehicles, including a van belonging to rapper OMB Peezy. While no injuries were reported, the shooting raised concerns about safety and compliance at the establishment. As a result, ALE immediately suspended Star Bar’s Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) permits due to ongoing violence and multiple regulatory violations.
