The community of South Central High School is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 17-year-old Kimora Ashanti Robinson, who was killed Tuesday evening in a crash as she was leaving the campus parking lot.
Authorities are still investigating what factors — including speed, visibility, or road design — may have contributed to the crash.
Students, teachers, and parents at South Central High are struggling to process the sudden loss.
Principal Chena Cayton remembered Kimora as “a light in the classroom,” known for her positive energy, kindness, and bright future ahead.
Outside the school, students have set up a memorial filled with flowers, candles, and balloons to honor Kimora’s memory.
Messages describe her as “sweet,” “full of life,” and “a real friend to everyone.”
