Shurie Smith Found Safe
A North Carolina family is breathing a sigh of relief after their loved one, 51-year-old Shurie Smith, who was previously reported missing, has been found safe.
Smith was last seen on Sunday, September 21, after she left a hospital in Kings Mountain on foot. She had not been heard from for several days, prompting her family to officially report her missing on Thursday and issue public pleas for help.
At the time, family members believed Smith could possibly be in Kings Mountain, Gastonia, or Shelby. Her whereabouts were unclear, and her clothing at the time she left the hospital was unknown.
Thankfully, authorities and family members have now confirmed that Shurie has been located and is safe.
