Milani Barlow, 25, and Darius Khaalid Wilcher, 32, have been arrested and charged by the Raleigh Police Department in relation to a stabbing that occurred early Wednesday morning in the 600 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Police reported that two individuals were stabbed during the incident, as reported by CBS17.
Wilcher faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury and assault with a dangerous weapon, while Barlow has been charged with simple assault, according to court documents. Warrants obtained by The North Carolina Beat show that Barlow is charged with three counts and is accused of assaulting Jukera Gray, Tyasia Gray, and Kanautica Locus.
Both suspects appeared in court on Thursday afternoon and are currently in jail.
Stabbing on Glenwood
At approximately 2:26 a.m. on Wednesday, Raleigh police responded to Glenwood Avenue and discovered a man with a stab wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Shortly thereafter, another victim with stab wounds related to the incident arrived at the hospital.
Wilcher is being held in jail without bond, while Barlow is in custody with a secured bond of $5,000. If released, she is prohibited from contacting the victims, either directly or indirectly.
Police have not provided additional information, but the investigation is still ongoing.
