A Chicago pastor has the internet in a chokehold after a now-viral sermon clip captured her dragging a certain type of man to hell and back — right from the pulpit.
During the “Girl Get Up Women’s Conference” hosted at Powerhouse Chicago — where Archbishop William Hudson III serves as pastor — Pastor Latasha Brown of Abundant Blessings Church came through with a mic drop moment that has social media lit.
Speaking during the Saturday, October 4, day session, Pastor Brown mentioned scripture — Jeremiah 30:17 — but quickly pivoted into a real-deal, no-filter word for the ladies in the room.
“We don’t want God to give us back something,” Pastor Brown said. “You know what we want… I know it’s some old people—y’all forgive me, my seasoned saints—but some of y’all want that poverty penis.”
The crowd started standing in ovation as Pastor Brown continued preaching straight into the mic with full conviction:
“You think you wanna heal, but it’s poverty. It’s poverty penis!” she shouted. “They can’t do nothing for you. It’s gon’ last about seven minutes if he real good… and if he ain’t? It’s about three minutes.”
She didn’t stop there. Pastor Brown then turned to the married women in the room:
“Lord Jesus, lady help me. Oh, Gawd, I’m out here now, Lord, JESUS. I’m talking to the married people. You married, and you ain’t felt good in a long time,” Pastor Brown said to the women.
Pastor Brown then broke it all the way down, telling them that penis doesn’t heal:
“He can’t do nothing for you. He calling you in the middle of the night. This why God can’t bring you who He got for you—because Rob is up in you, Steve is up in you, Anthony is up in you, even Shatita is up in you. You done even went bi,” Pastor Brown said to the women.
