North Carolina man arrested selling weed on Facebook Live
You can’t make this up. One of North Carolina news dumbest criminals, John Lee Sutton Jr., apparently thought he was invincible—or just downright stupid—when he allegedly decided to sell weed right outside the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Sutton, a 42-year-old from Manson, North Carolina man arrested selling weed on Facebook Live, was recently taken into custody after allegedly setting up shop right outside the Warren County Sheriff’s Office to allegedly sell weed. The wannabe kingpin even reportedly live-streamed the deals on Facebook, according to the sheriff’s office.
The incident took place on Thursday, February 13, the day before Valentine’s. According to police, a plainclothes officer approached Sutton in the parking lot after hours, where he was reportedly advertising his product. An undercover officer then made a purchase, and Sutton sold him marijuana. Warren County deputies immediately took Sutton into custody.
He was charged with selling marijuana and possession with intent to sell/deliver. Sutton bonded out a $30,000 bond on Saturday, Feb. 15, according to court records.
