In the latest buzz around town, Memphis rapper GloRilla found herself in a sticky situation, getting nabbed for a DUI in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, as per TMZ.
Despite not looking like she just stepped off a red carpet in her mugshot, GloRilla sported a smile that hinted she might have anticipated the spotlight shining on her across all the BLAWGS!
TMZ spilled the beans that the rapper, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, got caught by a sharp-eyed officer for pulling a u-turn at a red light around 4:00 a.m. The law enforcement then flagged down the vehicle for a chat.
As per the police report shared by TMZ, the officer picked up the scent of both marijuana and alcohol wafting from the car, with Glo owning up to having a few drinks earlier that night.
The report detailed how GloRilla dodged revealing the exact amount she had but insisted she was fit to drive. However, after a series of sobriety tests, GloRilla flunked each one and even turned down a Breathalyzer test.
The rapper got slapped with charges for suspected DUI, possessing an open alcoholic beverage, and a traffic violation in Gwinnett County, GA. She was processed at 6:12 a.m. and later bailed out.
GloRilla responded to the news by posting a photo of a Taylor Port bottle on top of her head on X, formerly known as Twitter.
