Victoria Natasha Crosby, 45, has been arrested and charged with the murder of her daughter, Tiffani Dominique Cossey, in a tragic shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon on Rainmaker Street in Linden, North Carolina.
Police Respond to the Scene
Harnett County authorities were dispatched to the scene around 2:39 p.m., according to reports from MyDailyRecord.com. Details of the events leading up to the fatal shooting remain unclear. However, investigators were still on-site around 6:30 p.m., shielding the victim’s body from public view.
Arrest and Charges Filed
Around 6:48 p.m., Harnett County Sheriff’s Detective Bradley M. Byrd obtained a warrant for Crosby’s arrest on a murder charge, the outlet reported. Crosby was formally taken into custody at 7:25 p.m.
Tiffani was a home-based hairstylist out of Hope Mills, according to her Facebook and Instagram accounts. She had two children and was pregnant at the time of her death.
Her mother, Victoria is currently held without bond at the Harnett County Detention Center.Â
