The case sparked a multi-agency search stretching across state lines, with law enforcement urgently requesting the public’s help.

THE SEARCH FOR BABY AMARIS

From the moment he vanished, local and state officials launched an aggressive investigation. Surveillance footage, vehicle sightings, and social media reports all became part of the manhunt. Police feared the child could be in danger given the suspicious circumstances and lack of communication from the father.

Amos Damas, the baby’s father, reportedly took off in the silver Nissan after leaving Chuck E. Cheese and hadn’t been seen or heard from since. Authorities warned the public to be on alert and to report any sightings of the vehicle or child.
