Known for his viral takes under the handle The Unpopular Party, Malik Taylor tragically lost his life in a single-car crash in Concord, North Carolina, on Wednesday, August 20.
According to Concord Police
Malik was driving alone in a 2016 Nissan Rogue when he veered off Lapis Lane NW, near Great Wolf Lodge and Concord Mills Mall, crashing 20 feet down an embankment.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said no foul play suspected but alcohol may have been a factor. Malik’s cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma.
Who Was Malik Taylor?
A 2020 graduate of Austin Peay State University and member of Alpha Kappa Psi, Malik first worked as a teacher. But by 2023, he went full-time as a digital content creator.
