ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A North Carolina woman already facing serious pending bank fraud charges is now accusing another woman of cyberstalking and grave defacement — a classic move of “run to the law when the internet don’t go your way.”
Court records show the accuser is currently charged in two separate financial fraud cases, including:
-
Conspiring with nine others to scam PNC Bank out of more than $217,000
-
Defrauding Wells Fargo Bank out of $83,119
Yet despite those unresolved cases, she successfully convinced a Nash County magistrate to issue warrants against Lakaiyaa Latrice Lyons, following a heated Facebook Live at a Rocky Mount cemetery.
WHAT REALLY HAPPENED AT THE MAUSOLEUM
Back on October 3, 2025, Lyons went live on Facebook from Rocky Mount Memorial Park, where both women’s mothers are buried.
In the video, Lyons is seen standing inside the mausoleum, verbally addressing the other woman — Regina Marie Jenkins — and daring her to pull up.
At one point, Lyons is heard speaking toward Jenkins’ mother’s resting place, saying her daughter “got her bent,” and boldly telling Jenkins to “come make me move.”

Jenkins later claimed she was on her way to fight Lyons — but she must’ve been driving below the speed limit because she never arrived – at least not while Lyons was there.
Jenkins never called the police that day and no damage was posted or document that day.
THREE DAYS LATER… SHE GOT UP
Instead of pulling up, three days later, Jenkins woke up on October 6, 2025, and went to a Nash County magistrate and took out criminal warrants against Lyons.
According to the warrants, Lyons is accused of:
-
Defacing a grave/grave site
-
Cyberstalking
The grave-related warrant alleges Lyons:
“Unlawfully and willfully vandalized grave ornamentation, shrubbery, and flowers… without authorization… causing damage of less than $1,000.”
The cyberstalking warrant claims Lyons embarrassed Jenkins by posting about her on Facebook — specifically referencing the same Live video Jenkins never showed up for.
QUICK RELEASE
Lyons was arrested on Tuesday, January 15, 2026, more than three months after the incident, and bonded out the same day on a $1,000 secured bond.
As part of her conditions of release, Lyons was ordered not to return to Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Her next court date is set for February 10, 2026.
