IRAN ATTACK ISRAEL
It’s official — Late Friday night, Iran launched a bold, massive counterstrike on Israel, hurling more than 150 ballistic missiles and over 100 drones in response to Israel’s earlier aerial assault on Iranian nuclear and military sites.
Iran came back swinging after Israel’s “Operation Rising Lion,” which targeted strategic nuclear sites in Natanz, Fordow, Isfahan, and Bushehr. In a coordinated move, Iranian forces fired 150+ missiles and 100+ attack drones toward Israeli cities—including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem—and military installations across the country.

But over in Iran, it’s a different story—several senior Revolutionary Guard commanders and nuclear scientists were reportedly killed in Israel’s initial airstrikes.
IRAN’S MESSAGE: “THIS IS WAR”
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called the Israeli strike a “cowardly act” and declared that “Iran’s patience has limits.” Tehran has filed an emergency complaint with the United Nations Security Council.
U.S. INVOLVED
The U.S. military had boots—and missiles—on the ground. Two destroyers, one which is USS Thomas Hudner, were repositioned, helping intercept Iran’s missiles aimed at Israeli and American interests in the region. President Donald Trump jumped in, calling for Iran to return to the negotiating table.

Meanwhile, global markets shake—oil prices spiked and stock markets dipped as investors grew nervous about full-blown war erupting in the Middle East.
