The Call Came Early

Emergency services rushed to Hogan’s residence around dawn, but despite life-saving efforts, the WWE icon was pronounced dead at the scene. It didn’t take long before the heartbreaking news made waves on social media and major outlets.

WWE confirmed the loss on X (formerly Twitter), stating:

IMG 9110 2
Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, was a legendary pro wrestler, actor, and WWE Hall of Famer who helped revolutionize wrestling and pop culture worldwide.

Twice inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame—in 2005 and again in 2020—Hogan is one of the few to receive that double honor.

In recent years, Hogan had been battling health issues, including major back and spinal surgeries. Rumors swirled that his health was failing, but his wife, Sky Daily, told reporters earlier this year that his heart was “strong” and he was in good spirits.
