63-year-old Greenville woman Annie Gray Lawler faces attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing a man in a Pitt County neighborhood.
Annie Gray Lawler, a 63-year-old woman from Greenville, is now behind bars and facing attempted first-degree murder charges after she allegedly stabbed a man Tuesday afternoon incident in Pitt County.
OLIVIA DRIVE TURNED INTO A CRIME SCENE
Around 2:15 p.m. on September 2, deputies with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office rushed out to Olivia Drive after receiving a 911 call about a stabbing in progress.
When they pulled up, they found a 34-year-old man bleeding from a stab wound to his arm. First responders didn’t waste no time—deputies put on a tourniquet and got him stable before he was rushed to ECU Health Medical Center for treatment.
According to officials, Annie Gray Lawler was still at the scene when deputies arrived and was quickly placed under arrest. Investigators haven’t yet revealed what led up to the stabbing.
