A man in Greenville, N.C. has been arrested after police reported that he was taking inappropriate photos of women, leading to at least 30 felony peeping charges against him.
The suspect, identified as Keeyon Jones, has been engaging in this behavior for an extended period.
How was Keeyon Jones caught peeping at women?
On May 19, 2024, a woman told police that she noticed a hand holding a cell phone reaching under the bathroom stall while she was at a Sheets gas station on County Home Road. After reviewing surveillance footage, authorities identified the 32-year-old suspect leaving in a vehicle, which they traced through the license plate.
Police arrested Jones the following day and obtained a search warrant for his phone. Investigators discovered 30 images and videos of his peeping activities on the device, which were recorded between June 2023 and May 2024.
The warrants indicated that the photos and videos were taken from outside residential windows, bathroom stalls, changing rooms, and beneath women’s clothing.
Authorities anticipate that additional charges will be filed against Jones.
