Genesis Naszer Whitted, 21, is wanted by Fayetteville Police.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A 21-year-old Fayetteville man is now on the run after he allegedly cut off and ditched his court-ordered GPS ankle monitor just days after posting bond.
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers rushed to the 1500 block of Rim Road around 7:44 p.m. on April 28, 2026, after receiving a strap-tamper alert on the electronic monitoring device strapped to Genesis Naszer Whitted.
Investigators say Whitted — who had just bonded out on serious charges of Discharging a Weapon into Occupied Property — decided he was done being tracked. He reportedly sliced the monitor right off and disappeared into the night. His current whereabouts, direction, and mode of travel are completely unknown.
The Fayetteville Police Department’s Electronic Monitoring Unit is actively searching for Genesis Naszer Whitted right now.
