A 39-year-old man from Garner, North Carolina, has been arrested and charged with impersonating a police officer and allegedly forcing a woman to have sex with him. Michael Sanchez Jones is accused of falsely representing himself as law enforcement to a woman and threatening to arrest her if she did not comply with his demands.
According to court documents, on February 7, Jones approached the victim in Raleigh, identified only as a woman, and claimed to be a police officer. He allegedly threatened her with arrest if she did not engage in sexual activity with him. The victim reported the incident to authorities, leading to Jones’s arrest.

Jones faces charges of impersonating a law enforcement officer, sexual assault, and kidnapping. He is currently being held in the Wake County Jail without bond.
