It looks like country music legend Dolly Parton might not be feeling her best right now, and her sister Freida Parton is calling on the world to lift her up in prayer.

In a heartfelt Facebook post on October 7, Freida poured her heart out to fans:
“Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been led to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me.”
She continued,
“She’s strong, she’s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!”
Freida’s post quickly went viral among fans who have grown up on Dolly’s music and spirit.
Just days before Freida’s post, Dolly postponed her Las Vegas residency, “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” which was originally set to kick off in December 2025.
In her official message, Dolly told fans she’s dealing with some “health challenges” and needs to undergo a few medical procedures before returning to the stage.

The show is now pushed to September 2026.
According to multiple reports, sources close to the singer say Dolly recently had a kidney stone that led to a serious infection earlier this year — one that forced her to miss a Dollywood event.
Still, Dolly insists she’s not hanging up the mic just yet — just slowing down to heal.
