The incidents, Williams says, occurred during his time at the middle school, has since gone viral. Williams has shared his story publicly, revealing the alleged traumatic experiences he endured. According to his timeline, in 2018, when the alleged abuse took place, Brantley was 25, creating a 13-year age gap between the two.

Allegations of Abuse

In his Facebook post, Williams recounted the alleged incidents, claiming Brantley’s behavior was “far beyond acceptable” and that Brantley sexually assaulted him “on multiple occasions” during school hours, basketball games, and even in the classroom. The young man explained that, at the time, he was confused and did not fully comprehend the gravity of what was happening, thinking it was “okay” as it confirmed his identity in his own mind.

“During this time, I was 12 years old and was so oblivious to the situation, but now I’m demanding justice, and my story will be heard,” Williams said in his post.

The abuse allegedly began during his 6th-grade year, a period when Williams felt isolated, having trouble with bullies and lacking friends. He claims that his bond with Brantley seemed genuine, as the teacher appeared to be a source of comfort during his difficult school days.

“I was always cool with teachers, and anybody that wanted to be in my corner, I wanted to be cool with,” Williams shared in the video. “Antonio Maurice Brantley was one of those people. I thought I could trust him.”

Details of the Alleged Assaults

In his video obtained by The NC Beat, Williams provided further details of the incidents, recounting how Brantley allegedly assaulted him in an ISS (In-School Suspension) class, where they were alone together.

“I didn’t know how to feel. I stood in shock… I stood there,” Williams said, fighting back tears.

Over time, he claimed Brantley began giving him gifts, such as an iPhone 8 Plus, AirPods, and food, as a way to “reward” him for their encounters. Williams went on to describe a particularly troubling incident after a basketball game, when Brantley allegedly went to the restroom, and came out with his pants down – and Williams allegedly grabbed his penis. While taking him home, Williams said he gave Brantley oral sex.

In a separate event, Brantley allegedly convinced Williams’ mother that he would tutor her son, but instead, the teacher took Williams to his home in Swainsboro, Georgia, where further abuse allegedly occurred.

“There was no tutoring done whatsoever,” Williams said with tears flowing down his face. “There was nothing but grooming and sexual activity the whole time.”

He said when they left Brantley’s mother’s house in Swainsboro, he said he gave Brantley oral on the way back.

Seeking Justice and Accountability

Williams admitted he did not speak out at the time, stating that he didn’t know how to process the situation. It wasn’t until his 18th birthday that Brantley reportedly contacted him with an apology via text message. Although Williams has not yet filed a police report, he has stated that he plans to do so.

“It’s like something I can’t even explain, Williams said.

  1. He was one my teachers in 7th grade we he was gay but we always saw him as a nice funny guy and good teacher but but now all he sounds like when I see him is pervert

  2. This honestly isn’t the Mr. Brantley I know. He was someone we could laugh and talk to when we needed it. We trusted him, we were comfortable with him. I couldn’t tell if we were taking it for granted or not but now I know. We thought we knew him but apparently we didn’t. What happened to that child, what trauma and suffering he went through, could’ve happened to any of us that sat in that classroom every single day. I’m glad he was finally brought to justice.

  3. I rather not say my name but I’m in 8th grade Mr Brantley was my teacher in 7th grade and up to 8th grade he was I just want to say I never thought these allegations would come upon him he truly does not look like the type of person to do that to a 6 grader. He’s shared his past experiences and trauma of abuse as a child from his step father, knowing that he went through a ton of trauma as a kid I never would thought this would be the case. Mr Brantley if you see this I just want you to know I love you as a teacher so much and I’m very sorry to see you like this you were the best teacher I could ask for your way of teaching always made it interesting and fun. I hope these allegations are not true.
