Faith Pellini ECU arrest
East Carolina University (ECU) student Faith Pellini has been arrested for the second time in less than 24 hours.
Earlier Friday, ECU police took Pellini into custody on College Hill in front of Tyler Hall for allegedly trespassing on campus grounds from which she had previously been banned.

According to an ECU officer, Pellini will face additional charges for this second offense. While being placed in a police cruiser, Pellini reportedly knocked out a window. She was then transported by ambulance.

This follows her first arrest late last Thursday night around 10:45 p.m. near Ballard Hall, where ECU police were responding to reports of suspicious individuals — one of whom was believed to be armed. The North Carolina news Officers found Pellini alone, reportedly engaging in a solo demonstration as a large crowd gathered against her. Despite multiple warnings and an earlier campus ban issued that same day, she refused to leave the area.

Pellini was charged with second-degree trespassing and resisting a public officer. She was booked into the Pitt County Detention Center and later released on a $2,500 bond.
The arrests come just days after Pellini went viral on TikTok, claiming ECU was threatening to expel her after she allegedly punched Jamari Cobb, a student she accused of sexual assault. The male student has since obtained a no-contact order against Pellini, alleging stalking behavior. Under the order, Pellini is prohibited from contacting him or posting about him on social media pending a court hearing scheduled for April 4, according to a report from WITN News.
When asked about Pellini’s enrollment status, ECU officials declined to comment, citing federal student privacy laws (FERPA).
