Kendrick Lynn Yates indicted Durham
Authorities are actively searching for Kendrick Lynn Yates, a 35-year-old local music promoter, following his indictment on a series of serious sexual assault charges.
According to a Durham County Grand Jury, a true bill of indictment was issued against Yates on March 17, 2025, charging him with multiple offenses related to alleged incidents dating back to January 2016.
Yates is facing the following charges:
Three counts of second-degree forcible rape
Two counts of statutory rape of a child by an adult
Two counts of second-degree forcible sexual offense
One count of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult
Although the specific details surrounding the allegations remain limited, law enforcement confirms that the investigation is ongoing and Yates has not yet been located.
