A trusted face in the ER, Dr. Aaron Moulton, just got hit with some of the most disturbing charges.

Dr. Aaron Moulton, a 31-year-old emergency room physician working in North Carolina, has been arrested and charged with child p*********y offenses after authorities say he possessed explicit material involving a child between the ages of 7 and 10.

According to warrants, the alleged crimes happened in December 2024, but Dr. Moulton wasn’t cuffed until this week.

The arrest came after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children triggered a multi-agency investigation. That tip, initially received in December, was handed over to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), which later passed it down to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office in March.





Deputies officially arrested Dr. Aaron Moulton on Monday, slapping him with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

He was booked into Pitt County Jail and has since posted a $150,000 bond.

Hospital Confirms Dr. Aaron Moulton Has Been Placed On Leave

According to a statement from Carteret Health Care, Moulton was employed through U.S. Acute Care Solutions as an emergency room physician.

The company says Moulton has now been removed from the work schedule and placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal investigation, as reported by WITN News.

More Charges Could Be On The Way

The case remains open, and investigators have not ruled out the possibility of more charges or additional victims. The exact nature of the child p*********y in question has not been publicly disclosed, but deputies made it clear that it was graphic and involved a minor under the age of 10.
