MAGA Minaj Attacks Don Lemon Following Minnesota Church ICE Protest
Nicki Minaj — dubbed “MAGA Minaj” by critics — is once again spiraling out of control, this time targeting independent journalist Don Lemon with a homophobic slur after he live-streamed a tense protest inside a Minnesota church.
The incident unfolded Sunday at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, where demonstrators interrupted a church service to protest the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Protesters demanded immigration agents “get the hell out” of their town and called for justice for Renee Good, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent, Jonathan Ross, during a federal enforcement operation earlier this month.

According to TMZ, several media outlets have reported that the church’s pastor allegedly has ties to ICE, fueling outrage from activists who say sacred spaces should not be used to shield federal immigration enforcement.

While Don Lemon was livestreaming the scene and reporting on the disruption, late Sunday night, Nicki Minaj took to X, launching a late-night attack in all caps.
“DON ‘COCK SUCKIN’ LEMON IS DISGUSTING.”
Lemon, who is openly gay, is married to real estate agent Tim Malone. The two have been married since 2024.
Minaj continued her rant calling for Lemon’s arrest:
“HOW DARE YOU? I WANT THAT THUG IN JAIL!!!!! HE WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO ANY OTHER RELIGION. LOCK HIM UP!!!!!”
The posts immediately sparked backlash online, with many accusing Minaj of using a homophobic slur while aligning herself with right-wing outrage over the protest.
Lemon later responded to the attack, telling TMZ that Minaj’s comments didn’t surprise him and questioning her understanding of journalism.
“I’m not surprised Nicki Minaj does not understand journalism and is weighing in on matters that are above her capacity.”
He added a sharp jab of his own, calling her a “pick me” figure — a term often used to describe someone seeking validation at all costs.
“However, the more appropriate image for her post is a ‘Pick Me’ Doll.”
Meanwhile, the situation surrounding the church protest continues to draw national attention. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the Department of Justice has launched a full investigation into the incident.
“President Trump will not tolerate the intimidation and harassment of Christians in their sacred places of worship,” Leavitt said in an X post.
