A domestic-related call led a North Carolina sheriff’s department to 2.5 kilos of Fentanyl and over 40 pounds of weed while at the call.
The Onslow County sheriff’s Office said their deputies were responding to a domestic-related incident on Eider Loop Road in Jacksonville, North Carolina, on September 29, 2022, and while at the residence, deputies noticed a strong odor of marijuana and found marijuana in plain view.
According to a press release, the sheriff’s office drug enforcement unit was notified, and a search warrant was obtained and executed.
Investigators found 2.5 kilos of Fentanyl, over 40 pounds of Marijuana, two rifles, and three handguns. One of the handguns was stolen from Pender County, North Carolina. Police also found $10,000 cash and seized a 2012 Audi. The suspect’s bank account was also seized with $10,000 inside.
Police arrested 25-year-old Tyrone Wainwright and 18-year-old London Sheryl Kebe, both of Eider Loop Road.
Wainwright was charged with: (12) Counts of Trafficking Opium or Heroin; (2) Counts Trafficking Marijuana; (1) Count Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Heroin; (1) Count Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Marijuana; (1) Count Manufacture Cocaine; (1) Count Manufacture Marijuana; (2) Counts Conspire to Sell or Deliver Heroin; Possession of a Stolen Firearm; Possession of a Firearm by Felon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Wainwright is in the Onslow County Jail under a $1,700,000 secured bond.
Kebe was charged with: Trafficking Opium or Heroin; Trafficking in Marijuana; Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Controlled Substances; Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Marijuana; Manufacture Marijuana; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Manufacture Schedule II.
Kebe is in the Onslow County Jail under a $258,000 secured bond.
