Charlotte woman stabs husband after he didn’t clean up the house.
A Charlotte, North Carolina woman is facing serious charges after allegedly stabbing her husband in the neck because he didn’t clean up the house.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), officers responded to a call around 10:49 a.m. on October 12, 2025, at a home on 11017 Foxhaven Drive regarding an assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
When officers arrived, they learned the victim had already been taken to a nearby hospital, but the suspect — identified as 44-year-old Chandraprabha Singh — was still at the residence.
According to the police affidavit, Singh told officers she was preparing breakfast when her husband asked what he could do to help. When he noticed she seemed upset, he asked her why, and she allegedly responded that she was frustrated because he didn’t clean up the house after being asked to.
Singh then went back to the kitchen, reportedly holding a knife, and told police that she “accidentally sliced” her husband in the neck when she turned around.
However, an officer who interviewed the victim at the hospital said the man told investigators that Singh was angry and intentionally attacked him with the knife.
Singh was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. She was given a $10,000 secured bond and must wear a GPS ankle monitor as a condition of her release.
Authorities confirm she has since posted bond.

Somebody needs to introduce her to D4vd. They would make a cute couple.
