Altercation Escalates to Violent Attack
Eyewitnesses told investigators that the suspect, Harris, was employed as a security guard at Woodshed Bar. A verbal and physical altercation between Harris and Jackson reportedly took place at the bar’s front entrance. Other patrons intervened, separating the two men, and Jackson was escorted toward the “rear of the bar away from the front door.”
However, according to court documents, Harris allegedly took a different route outside the bar, entered through an employee-only rear entrance, and attacked Jackson. He is accused of stabbing Jackson twice in the abdomen with a personal knife before fleeing the scene.

CMPD officers observed large amounts of blood inside the bar while investigating the stabbing.
Arrest and Charges
Harris was arrested on Monday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He is currently being held at the Mecklenburg County Jail on a $20,000 secured bond.
