A man from North Carolina has admitted to the murder of his mother following their discussions regarding him not having a job.
The 23-year-old son, Marques McBride, confessed to the crime in a Mecklenburg County Court room last week, where he pleaded guilty to the murder of his 44-year-old mother, Santavius McBride. The incident took place in east Charlotte in July 2023, with law enforcement responding to a shooting at a residence on Foxford Place.
