Black Couple Publicly Shamed Over Missing Pork Chops at South Carolina Restaurant—Video Goes Viral
Mill Street Grill in Manning, South Carolina, is under fire after a video showing the restaurant’s owner publicly accusing a Black couple of refusing to pay their bill went viral.

Viral Incident at Mill Street Grill
The controversy erupted when a Black couple, who reportedly ordered approximately $137 worth of food, questioned a charge for pork chops they said they never received. In a TikTok video posted by @ghettogaragebuildz, the restaurant owner is seen loudly addressing the entire dining area, stating:
“I want everybody to hear this… This lovely couple has ordered $137 for the 45 minutes they’ve been here, and they are refusing to pay.”
The couple calmly responded, clarifying that they were only disputing the charge for the pork chops they did not receive.
“We’re just asking what we did not get to be taken off the bill. That’s all. The pork chops we didn’t receive,” one of them said.
Owner Doubles Down
Rather than resolving the matter discreetly, the restaurant owner escalated the situation, proclaiming:
“I will not be bullied in my own restaurant.”
He then demanded the couple leave and not return. Despite the heated exchange, the owner ultimately agreed to remove the pork chops from the bill, and the couple paid for everything else they received.
