A North Carolina bishop recently charged with a decades-old rape confessed to his church that he once had an attraction to boys.
Bishop Michael Lee King, 65, of Salisbury, North Carolina, and pastor of Damascus Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, is facing indecent liberties with a minor, second-degree rape, and rape by a custodian charges stemming from a 1991 incident.
The charges follow a three-month investigation that led to his arrest on September 9, 2025. The bishop has since posted bond — but a video sent to us has many wondering if he may have also had alleged relations with underage boys back in the ’90s.
“USED TO LIKE BOYS”: BISHOP KING’S OWN WORDS
In the sermon clip, Bishop King proudly says:
“Born a boy, used to like boys, but I don’t do that nonsense no more. I found me a woman!”
The clip—equal parts confession and church theatrics—left many questioning whether the Bishop was revealing more than he intended, especially given the serious charge against him. He continues:
“I found out that hell wasn’t made for me!”
Well… with these recent charges, hell might just be for this clown.
